We have several opportunities for people who want to volunteer. See below, and then send an email and let us know what your interests are.

Ongoing opportunities:

1. Administrative work, including usual office work: filing, light bookkeeping, responding to inquiries, etc. We need someone about 3-5 hours per week – but if you are interested and have a few hours a month, that would be fine too.
2. Media/ PR assistant or intern: We need someone to develop schedules, send regular press releases, oversee our advertising deadlines, write short articles, develop newsletter material, etc. 
3. Grant writing: We need one person to help us research grant opportunities and prepare applications. It would be particularly helpful if you have had some experience in this arena.

Event-related opportunities

1. Winter Farmers Markets: There are 2 remaining Winter Markets on March 6 & 27. Duties include: helping vendors get set up, handing out literature, selling books, providing short relief breaks for vendors, checking out vendors at the end of each market, assisting with clean-up.
   

Internship and student opportunities

1. Media/PR intern: We need someone to develop schedules, send regular press releases, oversee our advertising deadlines, write short articles, develop newsletter material, etc. 
2. Web site development and maintenance: The site for the Northern Colorado Food Incubator needs updating and revision. It runs in Joomla, and at least some experience is needed.
3. Business plan development: There are several projects for which we need business plans written. Each would be appropriate for a team of 2-3 students. Two of the projects are actual businesses being developed; the third is a new program which we are exploring.
